I'm so drawn to the appeal of everyday items (even trash) reimagined as art. Finding beauty in the mundane. Perhaps it's a practice of mindfulness for me.
Cigarettes - when positioned as art objects or props - have a certain je ne sais quoi and embarrassingly seem to have me in an aesthetic chokehold... but the actual act of smoking or even being in close proximity to someone who is a smoker is repulsive to me.
That's, unless it's NYE and I'm 3 dirty martinis deep, and the waiter brings a tray with 3 cigs to our table and, because it's such a movie moment, I obviously smoke one out of respect for the art, duh.
Big Tobacco still on top lol. Anyway, all that rambling to say, this is cool art.
