Wow, what a beautiful piece of cinema. I LOVE the way they captured the beauty of that natural environment and that gorgeous home. I loved the sense of quiet isolation and stillness - even the sound of cicadas and birds as the consistent soundscape throughout the film.

It was so reminiscent of how I felt as a child, growing up in a small town in the 90s. Having to find ways to entertain yourself, spending so much time outside, being alone with your own thoughts without distraction, and witnessing the beauty and the flaws of the adults around you.

I loved the way this film captured that familiar feeling of what it was like to observe the complexities of adult life through the eyes of a child.

Also now I want a dove named Susan.
